Dandy goes to the theatre

Well, it’s been ages since I last blogged, so it’s about time I said hello. While I’m at it, I thought I’d let you know about our latest outing too. We all went off to the theatre on Tuesday for the opening night of Vertigo, courtesy of our new friends at Nottingham Playhouse.

We’ve recently started working with the team there, and our first job has been to produce a fundraising booklet. Not many people realise it, but the theatre’s actually a charity, so bringing in new funds is really important in making sure they can continue their great track record for performances and community activities.

To say thanks, they treated us to free tickets – on the second row no less. It was a fantastic performance against a great stage set, leaving all of us saying we ought to go to the theatre more often. If you’d like to catch it for yourself, Vertigo’s on until Saturday 27th.

I love Nottingham Playhouse, I bet they are fun to work with! I’ll have to go back some time soon. The beer garden is lovely too. Good work Dandy!
